Coaching for Business Leaders [3 sessions]

Todd has helped transform the decision making process in our company. He has helped me connect with God in the midst of my work in a new way and to identify the roots of business issues that actually have to do with things going on within my own heart. Then creating space for God to speak we work on the internal drivers instead of the external actions. Focusing on the heart issues brings results in our business but also in the rest of my life.

Todd has walked with me through two major career pivots over the past 4 years. After working with the MetaFormation team my heart has exploded with growth! I was cautious at first but after several experiences, I developed confidence in hearing the Lord’s voice. Becoming a coach and understanding more deeply how Jesus speaks unlocked the next level in my leadership and coworking with Jesus.

I wanted to explore how to best use my business experiences most effectively, including lessons learned from wins / losses, customer and employee interaction sprinkled with a little wisdom to the next generation of Godly business entrepreneur. I was hoping to meet with a Godly business executive. You were that person! Although I have many pages of very helpful notes written from our three zoom meetings, one simple phrase was a ‘game changer’ for me. “What matters most to God is who you are, not what you do.”

I started receiving coaching because my business and family were both facing tough decisions and I felt a bit out of my league. Rather than being wishy-washy about timelines and plans, I needed to insist that I believed God told us to go, this is the timeline, and here is the plan for appointing new leaders. Without this resolve, for fear of letting others down, I would have let my family and business languish in indecision for too long. A main way my life and faith have changed through coaching is I’m much more intentional to try to ask Jesus what he thinks about situations rather than stressing about needing to figure it all out myself. Sometimes I struggle to recognize his voice and it’s wonderful to have a coach to walk through the listening process with.

Coaching has been a transformational experience for me in my life and career. I didn’t know how to hear from Jesus before my encounter coaching sessions with Todd. I now feel confident in asking questions and hearing from Jesus in a way that no amount of typical self reflection would uncover.

Todd’s coaching has allowed me to step back and outside of myself and invite Jesus into the conversation. I leave each session with real burdens lifted, next steps agreed upon, and confidence in their practical impact to my life, team, and business.

Todd’s coaching taught me how to hear God’s voice conversationally. Knowing that I can have a conversation with God was life-changing. Helping other people hear God’s voice has been life-giving for me. Todd’s MetaFormation classes have helped me be a better father, business coach and mentor but mostly they have helped me grow closer to Jesus.

As a part of my overseas work, I was a part of a startup. I needed business coaching as well as life coaching. Todd was the perfect fit for me! For the past two years Todd has helped guide me through joys and sorrows. He has not made decisions for me, rather he has assisted me to understand my options and, most importantly, seek Jesus for the answers.

I was running a small business for 15 years and had tried many things to grow. However, nothing ever seemed to change. I wasn’t planning to be a life coach full time but I thought, maybe if I could approach business with a coach’s heart, I could make a greater impact. It’s been 4 years since starting this journey of listening and learning to ask powerful questions. It has made all the difference. Sure, my company has grown since then, but so much more importantly, God is using me for a more powerful impact on people’s lives. I am finding a great fulfilling of purpose through this.

I started coaching during a challenging season of life, stopped for some time, then returned when I was sick of spinning in circles. I was frustrated with God and wondered why if I read my Bible and prayed everyday I was still such a disaster inside. Todd listened and coached me through asking Jesus questions. I never once had to relive trauma, theorize about other people, place blame, make excuses, cut-off people, etc. It felt like I was welcomed to be vulnerable and we’d bring it to Jesus together. I had no concept of the freedom God offered until I experienced it firsthand. My experience with coaching was life-changing, radical healing. The cherry on top is that it’s been years since I’ve done coaching with Todd, and I still use everything I learned on a daily basis. I couldn’t recommend this more.

I found my way to Todd’s coaching through a friend’s recommendation during a challenging time of transition. It was truly a God-sent as we unknowingly headed into a global shutdown and dark times. The work we did each week sustained me through difficult times. Each session was intellectually stimulating, challenging, and enlightening. Todd gave me the most critical outside perspective and a knowing that my struggles were not only a part of my journey but preparation for greater things to come. The experience was truly a blessing.
